A full day at the office always goes smoother when I actually bring lunch. So I'm always on the hunt for one. This lunch box is making that happen.
This shirt from Walmart has been on repeat for two weeks. Cozy, perfect little sleeve, zero apologies. Wearing it above.
The lady at my local Sherwin Williams deserves a medal. Wall and cabinet colors for my little office are due and my sample library is out of control. Still no decisions. Front runners are Cargo Pants for cabinets and Cotton for walls.
These Phoebe Philo sandals. I have them in caramel and black. A shoe like this comes around maybe once in a lifetime, the kind that shifts your style permanently. That’s why I bought two pairs. An investment, to say the least, but it guarantees a go-to shoe for a wardrobe built on vintage Levis and t-shirts.
Recently picked up this little trio of Rosebud Salve at C.O. Bigelow in NYC. The iconic metal tins take me straight back to my days with Kevyn Aucoin in the 90s.
Has anyone tried Mojave Marshmallows? Obsessed with the Organic S'more Speckled ones.
The color of this tan Yeti cooler is sitting next to my paint swatches and somehow making every decision harder.
Barton Springs Mill is a local stone-ground heritage grain flour mill where I recently took a sourdough bread making class. Anyone want to bake bread for me? Turns out it won't be me.
This Dime cream and oil is a winning combination.
Sometimes I think, really? Why am I in a relationship with my Oura ring? Then I am reminded she is my checkpoint on sleep and steps. Consistent movement, consistent rest. It's all connected.
This brand is my go-to for all things mold. Unfortunately it is an ongoing battle. Texas has one of the highest mold counts in the country. I have one of these in almost every corner of the house and trucks.
Oh, and if you are so inclined to grab the shirt above, I would encourage you to throw one of these in your basket. A better fit for me (5'4" and under) than a Doen dress. Oh, and if you're asking why all the Walmart? It is all about high low for me. If I like it, I like it.
As some of y'all might not know, my pet deer Levi had her 4th fawn yesterday. More on that later.

Just spent some quality time with “Cotton,” and it was a top contender, but ended up going in another direction for my kitchen cabinets. Nobody understood my need for a line-up of brushstrokes on the walls and to live among them for weeks during the countertop renovations. My stolen glances at “Cotton,” “Paper White,” “Marshmallow,” and even “Steamed Milk,” went unnoticed by my husband.
Finally, one of my silent smears broke his silence: “It’s been me all along.”
It was “Choice Cream.”
